10 largest online retail platforms in Ukraine

The Ukrainian e-commerce market is rapidly developing, and marketplaces are becoming increasingly popular among both buyers and sellers. Torgsoft has compiled a ranking of the largest marketplaces in Ukraine, based on the Ukrainian Business Award research conducted in 2023, analyzing their features, advantages, listing costs, and terms of cooperation. 

In this review, we will examine 10 online stores with the highest levels of customer engagement and sales over the past year.

Why should you sell on marketplaces?

Many entrepreneurs do not understand the benefits of selling on marketplaces. However, to ensure your products are seen by as many people as possible, marketers recommend developing additional sales channels alongside your own online store and social media — such as marketplaces and price aggregators. These platforms are not expensive, and listing costs depend on the quantity and specifics of your products. 

According to Prom.ua, the share of e-commerce in Ukraine in 2023 was 11%, and this business segment continues to grow rapidly.

1. Rozetka

Rozetka

Features:

  • Rozetka is the largest online retailer in Ukraine. The Rozetka marketplace offers a wide range of products, from electronics to clothing and food (over 60 million items).

  • Own delivery service.

  • Products can be listed either on a commission basis or under the marketplace model: the seller can either sell goods under their own name and pay Rozetka a sales commission, or sell goods directly to the marketplace at a fixed price.

  • A wide range of promotional tools on Rozetka: promotional mailings, customer campaigns, paid advertising placement, and more. 

  • Seller accounts on Rozetka can be integrated with your own order management system via API. 

Terms of cooperation:

  • Sellers set their own prices.

  • Monthly subscription fee for using the platform.

  • Warehouses available in Kyiv and other major cities for product storage.

  • Turnkey product promotion by Rozetka.

Listing cost:

  • Fees from UAH 120 per month depending on category, number of products, and cooperation model.

  • Sales commission from 2% to 20%.

  • Listing costs under the marketplace model are negotiated individually.

2. Prom.ua

Prom.ua

Features:

  • Prom is a large marketplace focused on the B2B segment (business-to-business trade).

  • Ability to list between 1,000 and 10,000 products in the Prom catalog.

  • Analytical and promotional tools, including a mobile app for buyers and a personal site on Prom.

  • Promotion campaign setup for buyers.

  • Integration with other popular services, such as Google Merchant Center.

  • Compensations and bonuses for sellers. 

  • Ability to create a personal online store on the platform.

Terms of cooperation:

  • Commission: from 5% to 16%, depending on the product category.

  • Paid promotion packages.

Listing cost:

  • Pricing ranges from UAH 5,900 to UAH 11,500 per year, depending on the number of listed products.

3. OLX 

OLX

Features:

  • Olx is the most popular classifieds website in Ukraine, featuring a large number of items from private sellers. The platform attracts an average of 22 million users per month. 

  • Free ad posting is available.

  • Paid packages for promoting both new and used products.

  • Possibility to create and grow your own OLX store on the platform. 

  • Olx offers its own educational programs for starting and growing a business from scratch.

  • Supports the recovery of Ukrainian producers and sellers affected by the war.

  • Develops partnership programs together with leading associations and companies to support Ukrainian business. 

  • Conducts business research in cooperation with partners. 

Terms of cooperation:

  • Free posting of a limited number of ads.

  • Paid packages available for different volumes — from a few to 1000 ads — to increase visibility.

  • OLX does not charge a sales commission, but sellers must manage delivery and payment themselves.

  • The platform offers tools for communication with buyers and managing listings.

Listing cost:

  • Free for basic listings.

  • Paid promotion starts from UAH 40 per ad. Package prices vary depending on the number of ads, category, its popularity, and the average product price within it.

4. Epicentr

Epicentr

Features:

  • Epicentr is a national chain of shopping centers and one of the largest e-commerce platforms in Ukraine, offering home goods, building materials, plumbing, furniture, appliances, electronics, sports goods, food, cosmetics, clothing, and more.

  • A marketplace based on one of the largest offline retailers.

  • All products priced over UAH 350 can be advertised via Google Shopping.

  • Promotion tools for discounted items, product and contextual ads. 

  • Professional business consulting is available.

Terms of cooperation:

  • Commission: negotiated, depending on the product category.

  • Integration with offline stores.

Listing cost: 

  • To activate a seller account, a one-time payment of UAH 1,100 is required, UAH 1,000 of which can be used to cover order commissions.

  • Annual subscription fee — UAH 100.

  • Commission for each successful sale ranges from 5% to 25% of the item value.

5. Bigl

Bigl

Features:

  • The marketplace is part of the EVO product group, which develops online trading platforms with various specializations.
  • Bigl is a “subsidiary” of Prom. When registering on Prom, a partner gets the opportunity to publish their products on Bigl. The platform focuses on home and family goods: household appliances, furniture, children's products, etc. 

Terms of cooperation:

  • Creating a store on Bigl.ua is only possible after registering on Prom.ua and purchasing one of the paid packages.
  • Commission: from 5% to 16% depending on the product category.
  • Sellers must have at least 80% positive reviews and no more than 15% canceled orders.

Listing cost:

  • The package cost is the same as on Prom + an order commission from 5% to 16%. 
  • Additional payment is required for Prosalle product advertising based on Prom’s rates.

6. Allo.ua

Allo.ua

Features:

  • Allo is one of the largest online supermarkets for electronics and gadgets in Ukraine.

  • Products can be sold under the “Allo” brand and listed in the general retailer catalog.  

  • Customer loyalty program, including the organization of special offers. 

Terms of cooperation:

  • The seller has a 72-hour credit period from the marketplace, which can be used if personal funds run out.

  • The platform can remove a seller’s product without explanation.

  • The merchant's store logo on ALLO must differ from the original.

  • Seller account integration via API with any accounting system is possible. 

Listing cost:

  • Monthly fee for using the platform.

  • An advance payment of UAH 2,500 is required when registering a seller account.

7. F.ua

F.ua

Features: 

  • F.ua, also known as "The Same Store", is a Ukrainian online store offering household appliances, goods for home, garden, sports, auto products, and more. 

  • It has three physical stores in Kyiv and provides delivery across Ukraine.

  • Provides sellers' customers with a convenient payment system and professional support, including an inbound call handling service.

Terms of cooperation: 

  • Strict requirements for merchants: for example, the seller must contact the buyer no later than 24 hours after the order is placed. 

  • Numerous requirements for content and product listings on the platform. 

  • The seller may be blocked for violating partnership rules. 

Listing cost: 

  • Pricing and listing fees are not publicly available. 

  • During registration, the marketplace asks the seller to specify the desired commission amount.

8. Kasta.ua

Kasta.ua

  • Kasta is the largest fashion marketplace for clothing, footwear, and accessories in Ukraine.
  • The Kasta marketplace also offers home goods and clothing from popular brands such as Adidas, Nike, Puma, Zara, and H&M.
  • Offers paid promotion options, as well as the ability to organize campaigns and discounts.

Terms of cooperation:

  • There are two cooperation models: Marketplace 3P and Fulfilled by Kasta. In the first case, you sell independently without Kasta’s involvement. In the second, the retailer provides warehouse space, manages all communications with buyers, and handles order delivery on your behalf.  

  • Unlimited free delivery of the seller’s products and 3% cashback funded by Kasta.

  • No mandatory recurring payments for using the platform.

  • Commission: from 10% to 20%.

  • Option to create branded stores on the platform.

  • Kasta offers its own promotion system and loyalty program for partners — Kasta Black. For example, it helps create photo and video content for the seller's catalog and provides marketing tools: banners, SMM, Google ads, and more. 

  • Provides its own contact center and fulfillment services.

9. Zakupka

Zakupka

Features:

  • Zakupka is a Ukrainian B2B marketplace founded in 2008. The platform receives about 2 million users each month. 

  • Wide selection of goods and services from various businesses for different customer categories. 

  • Provides access to the marketplace audience and a well-optimized site on an external domain. 

  • Tender system: Zakupka offers a feature that allows buyers to launch tenders for purchasing goods and services.

  • Extended opportunities for merchants: placement in premium categories, participation in tenders, comprehensive marketing support including website creation and customization, award and prize organization, and more. 

Listing cost:

  • Free plan: suppliers can list their goods and services on Zakupka for free. Paid plan: sellers pay a fixed fee and get full access to platform benefits.  

  • The minimum initial contribution for promoting a catalog on Zakupka is UAH 1,000. 

10. Shafa.ua

Shafa.ua

Features:

  • Shafa is a Ukrainian online second-hand marketplace offering unique items, clothing, shoes, accessories, and other goods from private sellers.

  • Shafa.ua is not just an online store — it's also a community. Users can communicate, share fashion advice, and stay updated on trends.

  • Low prices: items on Shafa are significantly cheaper than in traditional stores.

  • Unique products: offers original and vintage items that are hard to find elsewhere.

Terms of cooperation:

  • Sellers set prices for their own products independently.

  • Shafa.ua charges a 5% commission on each sale.

  • Sellers handle shipping directly to customers.

Listing cost: 

  • For products up to UAH 499, the sales commission is 14.4%.

  • For products between UAH 500 and 999: commission is 12%.

  • For products over UAH 1,000: commission is 9.6%, but no more than UAH 300.
