Software ECR: mistakes entrepreneurs make and how to avoid them

Software ECR — this is a software-based Electronic Cash Register, a digital equivalent of a traditional fiscal register. It can be installed on a smartphone, tablet, computer, or laptop, and it performs the same functions as a regular ECR — records sales, stores, and transmits financial transaction data to the State Tax Service of Ukraine.

6. Incorrect fiscal parameter settings

Errors during cash register registration, incorrect VAT rates, or incorrectly specified details — all this can lead to fiscal violations. For example, a cash register is registered at one address but works at another — this is a violation that can easily be avoided with proper setup.
