Which Torgsoft license to choose

A Torgsoft license defines the program’s functionality and the way work is organized. For one store with basic accounting, Torgsoft-Start is sufficient. For a store, warehouse, or business that needs full functionality, several accounting centers, wholesale trade, and advanced analytics, Torgsoft-Ultra is intended. For a chain of stores and remote workplaces that must work via the internet with a single database, Torgsoft-Terminal is used.

All three licenses allow you to perform the main product operations: receive goods, sell, process returns and write-offs, conduct inventory and repricing, manage cash and financial operations, work with customers and discounts. The main difference is the scale of accounting, available functions, and work architecture.

Torgsoft-Start: for one store with basic accounting

Torgsoft-Start is suitable for a store, kiosk, retail outlet, or small warehouse that needs retail sales, product and warehouse accounting, cash desk, customers, discounts, and basic reports.

Torgsoft-Start provides one accounting center. If several cash registers or other workplaces operate in one premises, the computers can be connected into a local network and work with a shared database. A separate Torgsoft-Start license is required for each computer.

For the main work of the locally installed program, constant internet access is not required. The internet will be needed for functions and external services whose operation requires an online connection.

Torgsoft-Start has functional limitations. This license does not include several accounting centers, internal transfers between warehouses, supplier orders, assembly, wholesale trade, trade with invoice issuance, a bonus system, VIP customers, regional and currency price lists, or ABC and XYZ analysis.

The functionality of Torgsoft-Start can be expanded with 16 compatible additional options. These include software RRO, integration with a fiscal registrar, bank terminal and scales at the checkout, mobile app, cloud data archive, warranty product accounting by serial numbers, product storage location, repair and warranty service, and other specialized functions. Additional options are licensed separately.

Torgsoft-Ultra: full functionality for a store, warehouse, and online trade

Torgsoft-Ultra is needed for a business where basic accounting is no longer sufficient. The license supports several accounting centers in one database, internal product transfers, supplier orders, assembly, wholesale sales, trade with invoice issuance, bonus programs, VIP customers, and advanced analytics.

Several cash registers, a commodity specialist’s computer, an administrator’s computer, and other workplaces can be connected into a local network. Employees work with a shared database, and a separate Torgsoft-Ultra license is required for each work computer.

If the program and database are located inside the store’s local network, the main operations can be performed without constant internet access. For a business with stores, warehouses, and employees in different cities, it is advisable to use the Torgsoft-Terminal server architecture.

Torgsoft-Ultra supports all compatible Torgsoft additional options. They allow you to connect an online store, marketplaces, delivery services, software RRO, bank terminals, equipment, production accounting, payroll, specialized warehouse processes, and other functions required by the business.

Torgsoft-Terminal: for a retail chain and remote workplaces

Torgsoft-Terminal is intended for businesses where stores, warehouses, offices, and other workplaces are geographically separated and must work with one database.

The program and database are hosted on a terminal server. Cashiers, commodity specialists, administrators, and the owner connect to the server through a network. After operations are posted, changes are entered into the shared database, so users work with current data on sales, balances, documents, and financial operations.

The server can be owned or rented. Remote work requires a stable internet connection between the workplace and the server.

Torgsoft-Terminal has the functionality of the full version of Torgsoft: several accounting centers, internal transfers, wholesale trade, supplier orders, bonuses, VIP customers, advanced analytics, and the ability to connect compatible additional options.

The basic server license includes three connections to the server. If there are more workplaces, the number of simultaneous connections is increased using additional client licenses.

Product and financial operations are connected in one system

An employee records a receipt, sale, return, write-off, repricing, or inventory in Torgsoft. The program changes the corresponding accounting data and stores operation documents. The owner or responsible employee can check balances, product movement, cash operations, mutual settlements, and trading results through reports.

Access rights can be defined for each employee

The administrator creates separate user accounts and assigns roles to them. Rights define which functions and data the employee sees: for example, whether purchase prices, summary indicators, separate accounting centers, or editing of directories are available to them.

The owner does not need to give the seller access to all program information if the seller only needs the cash desk and a defined set of operations for work.

User actions can be checked

Torgsoft keeps a user action protocol and a document change log. If an operation needs to be checked, the responsible employee can determine who worked in the program and what changes they made. These data help analyze errors and control compliance with the established accounting procedure.

Functionality can be expanded gradually

The basic license is supplemented with separate options for specific processes. The entrepreneur does not need to connect a function that their business does not use. As new tasks appear, fiscalization, equipment integration, mobile work, production, online trade, delivery, special warehouse processes, and other compatible capabilities can be added.

Torgsoft can scale together with the business

If the capabilities of Torgsoft-Start become insufficient, the license can be changed to Torgsoft-Ultra. With this transition, work continues in the current database: products, customers, documents, balances, and settings are preserved.

If retail outlets are located in different places and need a shared server database, the business can switch to Torgsoft-Terminal and add new client connections as the chain expands.

The program can be tested before purchase

The Torgsoft demo version works for 30 days. During this time, you can check the main operations on your own scenarios: create a product structure, enter products, record receipt and sale, conduct inventory, configure users, and check the required reports. Additional options available for testing can be activated separately.

Purchased licenses do not have a mandatory annual payment for the program itself

The purchased perpetual license remains with the user, and program updates are provided at no separate cost. Additional options may have their own licensing terms and periods. Technical support beyond the package provided to a new customer is arranged separately.

Choose Torgsoft-Start if you have one store or one accounting center and need retail sales, warehouse, cash desk, customers, discounts, and basic reports. Several cash registers in one premises can be connected locally.

Choose Torgsoft-Ultra if you need several accounting centers, transfers between warehouses, supplier orders, wholesale trade, bonuses, advanced analytics, an online store, or additional options of the full version.

Choose Torgsoft-Terminal if stores, warehouses, offices, or employees are located in different places and must work simultaneously via the internet with one database on the server.
