«Discount Club» is a loyalty program with a fixed discount that a customer receives after accumulating a specified purchase amount within a set period. The result is repeat sales and an increase in the average check: to avoid losing the discount, the customer returns and buys more often. It is suitable for retail stores with regular purchases.
What the «Discount Club» option can do
Accumulation and joining the club
- Starter card with a zero discount — any new customer is issued a card with a fixed 0% discount, on which the amount of their purchases is accumulated.
- Accumulation within a period — the system checks whether the customer has accumulated the specified amount within the set initial accumulation period.
- Granting a club discount — after the conditions are met, the customer receives a fixed club member discount.
Maintaining membership
- Status confirmation — an active club member must make purchases for the specified amount within the membership confirmation period.
- Discount cancellation — if the customer has not accumulated the amount required to join or has not confirmed membership on time, the discount and accumulation are reset, the customer becomes a regular buyer, and accumulation starts again.
Control and management
- Daily check — once a day, when Torgsoft starts, the program analyzes the database and creates a list of customers for granting or canceling the discount.
- The «Club Discount Management» window — shows all participants and includes filters: candidates for joining the club, candidates for membership renewal, those who did not meet the joining conditions, and candidates for exclusion.
- Manual approval of decisions — based on the check results, decisions on joining or exclusion are made manually in this window.
- Rule settings — the parameters define the club discount percentage, the initial accumulation period, the membership confirmation period, and the corresponding amounts.
For basic operation, the option works independently. For a more complete scenario, it is combined with related options: «Discount card verification via SMS | 1-year license» (to apply the club discount by phone number if the customer forgot the plastic card and to protect against fraud) and «Bulk customer mailings | 1-year license» (to remind club members about accumulation and the risk of losing their status).
