What do I need for terminal server?
- Stable Internet connection at least 2 Mb/sec.
- Static IP address on the server.
- Powerful computer for the server with a processor from Intel Core i3 or higher, 8 GB RAM or higher.
- Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows Server 2012, Windows Server 2016, Windows Server 2019, or Windows Server 2022 operating system.
- Store computers or laptops - any, with Windows operating system.
Point-of-sale equipment: barcode scanners, price tag and receipt printers. Include the trading equipment in a network and connect with the help of USB-cable to the computer.
To configure the terminal server, connect a Torgsoft system administrator using TeamViewer. To do this:
- download the TeamViewer remote access program,
- pass the ID number for connection to a Torgsoft specialist.
The server owner needs to know the login and password to access the Windows operating system and the router. You will need them in the process of configuration.
