Linking the sale of each product to a salesperson — this is a Torgsoft option that assigns each sold product unit to a specific sales consultant directly at the checkout. This provides accurate accounting of personal sales and correct calculation of bonuses, even when all purchases are paid for with one receipt at a shared cash register. Suitable for retail stores with a large sales floor, several departments, and a limited number of cash registers.
What the option can do
Linking a salesperson to a product
- Registering the salesperson before each product — in the «For each product» mode, the cashier first scans the consultant's barcode and then the product barcode.
- One receipt — different salespeople — products from several consultants from different departments are combined in one receipt at a shared cash register.
- Identification by unique barcode — the salesperson is recognized by a personal badge, card, or sticker on the product.
Analytics and motivation
- The «Work Analysis by Period by Products» report — shows sales of each product linked to a specific salesperson for the selected period and accounting center (Settings — Employee).
- Bonus calculation — the report includes a «Bonus» column for sold products, and the bonus amount is set in the «Bonus Settings» tab.
- Accounting for VIP customer purchases — the report includes the «Consider VIP customer purchases» checkbox to include or exclude such sales from the analysis.
For full automation of bonus and commission accrual for salespeople, the option works together with the separate «Salary and Staff Motivation» option: accurate linking of the sale to the product provides the data for calculation.
