Minimum and Maximum Stock by Warehouses — this is a Torgsoft option for managing product stock separately for each warehouse or retail outlet. The program shows what needs to be reordered, where there is a shortage, and where goods are accumulating above the required level. The option is useful for retail chains, warehouses and stores with different demand across different locations.
What the Minimum and Maximum Stock by Warehouses option can do
Individual stock limits
- Minimum stock for each warehouse — different minimum quantities can be set for the same product at different warehouses or retail outlets.
- Maximum product stock — the program supports an upper stock threshold through the dynamic characteristic «Maximum product stock».
- Settings for the entire chain or a separate warehouse — in the warehouse parameters, you can choose how to manage minimum stock: the same for all warehouses or separately for each warehouse.
Warehouse control and replenishment
- «Need to order» column — in «Warehouse Stock», the program shows the quantity of goods that needs to be reordered up to the minimum level.
- View across all warehouses — in the «Warehouse Stock» mode, you can enable all warehouses and see the quantity, minimum stock and order requirement for each outlet.
- Excess stock filter — if the maximum stock column is added, the program shows goods whose quantity exceeds the specified maximum.
- Supplier order calculation — in «Supplier Order Creation», the program takes into account the minimum stock for selected warehouses and calculates the purchasing requirement.
- Calculation for each accounting center — if a product is missing at several outlets, the program summarizes the requirement of each outlet into one general order.
Internal orders and product distribution
- Retail outlet order from warehouse — the program helps a store order goods from the central warehouse if an item is running out or is already unavailable.
- Shortage and surplus filters — the internal order includes the filters «Product shortage», «Product surplus», «Shortage and surplus».
- Control during distribution — in «Product Distribution», you can see the minimum and maximum stock for the sender and the recipient.
- Warning or transfer prohibition — the program can warn or prevent the creation of an internal transfer if it creates a shortage or surplus.
- Highlighting problematic items — goods below the minimum stock, above the maximum stock or not multiple of the package quantity are highlighted with color.
Change control and work with the online store
- Minimum stock change log — with the appropriate setting, the program records the date, product, old and new value, accounting center and user who changed the minimum stock.
- Synchronization of minimum warehouse quantity — when working with an online store, the minimum warehouse quantity can be transferred according to the setting: for all warehouses or for the warehouse of the synchronization object.
- Stock calculation — with the «Automatic Stock Calculation» option, minimum and maximum stock levels can be calculated based on sales and supply frequency.
Automatic calculation of recommended minimum and maximum stock levels requires the separate «Automatic Stock Calculation» option. Transferring data to the website requires the «Online Store Synchronization» option.
