Situations when the client wants to pay with a currency other than the national currency at the cash desk in the store do not occur often, but do occur.
The "Multi-currency sales" paid option was created for such cases.
This function allows customers to pay in any currency.
When activating the "Multi-currency sales" option, the entrepreneur can:
- select the default payment currency,
- accept the payment of a check in any currency or a combination of national and any other currency,
- automatically calculate the payment amount according to the exchange rate to national currency,
- automatically calculate the change in national and currency of payment.
Thus, in "Realization" mode you can accept payment in any currency, the recalculation of the amount to be paid will occur instantly.
The exchange rate for the calculation can be set before the start of the working day, or the program will request it at the first payment and will substitute further automatically.
"Report on currency sales" will show the results by cash desk, with information on sales, amounts of payments in national and actual currency.
