What are the scales ВТА-60/15-5-A?
Scales ВТА-60/15-5-A are scales with an enlarged platform. They are suitable for grocery stores. These scales are powered by a ~220 V network or by a built-in battery. TВТА-60/15-5 transmits the cost of the goods per kilogram from the cash register to the indicator of the scales.

How to work with scales ВТА-60 / 15-5-A?
Step 1. Download and install the driver.
Step 2. In the Torgsoft program, activate additional function №27:
Go to the Settings menu → List of additional functions → move the cursor to function №27 → click «Activate».
This is a free feature in the demo version.
Step 3. Register a COM object to communicate the balance with the computer:
- In the «Archive» tab, run the install.bat file.
- In the Settings → Parameters → Weight menu, check the box next to «Use scales to determine the weight of goods in the sale» → click the «Install/Configure» button → a window will open.
- In this window, select the type of scales (VTA60) and enter the number of the COM port to which they are connected.
Step 4. Assign the «Weight» attribute to the goods in the program:
- In Commodity → Product type → in the «Dimension» field, check the «Weight» box for the goods that need to be weighed.
- When scanning a weighted product in Torgsoft, there will automatically open a window with the product weight transferred from the scales. The weight of the container is not taken into account.
- For inventory, you need to weigh the goods on the scales and manually enter the weighing result in the program. If you check the box «Set weight manually» during the sale, the weight of the goods will also be entered into the program not from the scales, but from the keyboard.
- Torgsoft automatically generates a barcode for the product if the manufacturer's barcode is not scanned.
