The option automatically changes the product price to the wholesale price as soon as its quantity in the receipt reaches the specified threshold. The cashier does not calculate manually or memorize transition conditions — the correct price is applied automatically. It is suitable for businesses that combine retail and wholesale sales from one warehouse.
What the «Wholesale Price Policy» option can do
Automatic wholesale prices in the receipt
- Multi-level prices per item — several wholesale prices are stored for one product (small, medium, and large wholesale) alongside the retail price.
- Quantity thresholds — the program automatically switches the price in the receipt to the wholesale price as soon as the product quantity reaches the specified value.
- Two calculation methods — the wholesale price can be formed as a discount from the retail price or as a markup from the accounting (purchase) cost.
- Automatic calculation with manual adjustment — the program generates the wholesale price list according to the rules, while individual prices can be edited manually in the product card if needed.
Settings for groups and the entire chain
- Rules for product type — unified conditions for forming the wholesale price are set for an entire category at once, not for each item separately.
- Unified prices across the chain — the established wholesale prices apply equally at all outlets, even if retail prices differ between accounting centers.
- Local restriction — the policy can be disabled for a separate accounting center if the outlet works under special conditions.
- Bulk creation and updating — wholesale prices are recalculated at once for selected product groups when purchase conditions change.
Combination with discounts and customer types
- Compatibility with discounts — by default, the wholesale threshold cancels other discounts, while the «Apply discounts to wholesale sales» setting allows them to be combined.
- Exception for named customers — the «Do not use wholesale price policy for named customers» setting leaves only their personal conditions for regular customers.
- Customers with the «Wholesale» trade type — for such buyers, the wholesale price can be applied immediately, without waiting for the quantity threshold.
- The «Wholesale price list» document — a full price list is generated and printed, indicating the quantity from which each price applies, for sending to wholesale customers.
Transferring prices to the storefront and external channels
- Printing on price tags and labels — the wholesale price can be displayed in the print template to inform customers on the storefront.
- Export to an online store and Prom.ua — wholesale prices and transition conditions are transferred online through the Synchronization with online store option and Integration with Prom.ua.
- Transfer to Rozetka.ua — through the Integration with Rozetka.ua option, one wholesale price without threshold conditions is transferred to the marketplace.
- Integration with scales — the wholesale price policy can be uploaded to the memory of compatible scales with receipt printing (for example, ВТНЕ-ПРИНТ-15Н2-2), so that the scales print a label with the correct price by weight.
The option itself works independently and does not require the Internet. To transfer wholesale prices and transition conditions to your own website or Prom.ua, the related Synchronization with online store option is required.
